Respiratory Therapist – MU Health Care
Pay: $21.91-33.20/hr
Shift Differentials: $2/hr evenings, $4/hr overnights, and $3/hr weekends

Respiratory Therapists at MU Health Care:
Provide advance ventilator care in seven advanced ICUs.
Utilize evidence based, best practice ventilator protocols, allowing for greater freedom within their scope of practice.
Utilize evidence based, best practice bronchodilator protocols, allowing for better use of their time and enabling them to focus on quality care vs the quantity of care.
Are recognized and respected members of a multi-disciplinary team.
Work at mid-Missouri’s only Children’s Hospital that includes a Level III NICU and its own Critical Care Transport Team (land and air).
Work in mid-Missouri’s only Level 1 Trauma Center.

Wellness Incentives
Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) licensure by the Missouri Respiratory Care board. Permit holders must be a graduate of a respiratory program.
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) within one (1) month. 
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) within one (1) year
CPFT credentials must be obtained within 12 months of accepting responsibilities on PFT lab.
